Welcome and thank you for engaging in this survey

From its source north of Lake Louise through to the prairies of Vauxhall, the Bow River brings joy and new life to southern Alberta. It is a resource for us all to cherish. We need your help to keep our river healthy and a source of life for all.

The Bow River Basin Council (BRBC) heads up Watershed Management Planning, addressing land and water resource issues in the Bow River Watershed.

The Plan, as so far developed is designed to conserve and manage landscape features within the watershed necessary for sustained water quantity and quality and healthy aquatic ecosystems. The plan makes recommendations for: public policy, practice and regulation; education and awareness programs; and proactive, voluntary action by land, water and resource managers.

Phase II of the plan focuses on:  Land Use, Riparian Lands, Wetlands and Headwaters.

Now we need your input. Consultation and feedback are key to the success of the Council’s watershed planning initiatives. The Council asks for your input through this survey. Please click this link to participate - BRBC Survey

The Survey is now Closed. Thank you for your interest.

Public meetings this fall in Canmore, Brooks and Calgary will provide additional opportunities for feedback.
